We encourage children to make healthy food choices, and fizzy drinks and sweets will not be allowed for lunch or snack.  For advice on what to provide in your child's lunch, download FoodforLife's Early Years Packed Lunch Guide below.  This will open in a new tab.

For children attending our morning and full day sessions, we run a Breakfast Club every day from 8:00am - 8:45am to provide extra childcare on those busy mornings.  These sessions can be booked regularly or occasionally as needed, but please note that we charge £2.50 per session.

Attendance & illness

If your child is too ill to attend preschool, we ask that caregivers promptly inform us by telephone at 01793 705769 on the morning of the absence.  Our landline is available from 7:30am each day.  Children must be clear of any sickness or diarrhoea for 48 hours before returning to school.

If your child becomes unwell whilst at school or has an accident requiring medical attention, you will be contacted by telephone.  It is very important that your contact numbers are kept up-to-date and that you are reachable by phone at all times while your child is in our care.

Medicines

Only medication prescribed by a doctor can be given to your child during school hours.  They must have full written instructions and caregivers must sign a constent form in order for staff members to administer the medicine.

Pick-up & drop-off

You need to inform the school if a different person is collecting your child other than who is stated on your registration form.

For those travelling by car, we have a small car park directly outside the church hall, and there is a free car park adjacent to us that has limited parking.  We would appreciate your care and attention to our neighbours and the surrounding community during drop-off and collection times.
